OUCH

I did day two of Hip Hop Abs. I was a little sore (OUCH) from the first day, but not my abs, lol. It takes a little time to get used to a workout video. I like this one a lot though. I did Ab Sculpt yesterday and Fat Burning Cardio today. It was a little harder today, but I pushed through! I did not eat a good dinner though, McDonalds, yeah I know!!

My husband is flying back from Arizona tonight. I didn't go grocery shopping either because we are leaving for the weekend on Friday. I stopped at the library to pick up a couple books I ordered. Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel and her recipe book too! I think it is good to read these types of books to help stay motivated. You can't take everything, but there is always something good in them! The next book I ordered is called Apples & Pears, about body types.

Extremely busy day tomorrow, I have 5 kids most of the day. I am inviting our homechool group over for sack lunches in the afternoon after we go see a movie at our local planetarium. So that is about 20 people, 15 kids. Yeah, it's going to be crazy and I am wondering if I am insane, but I'm counting on God to see me through!

Hip Hop Abs

I ordered a used two disc set of Hip Hop Abs on Amazon. I did a workout last night and loved it!!! It reminded me a lot of Cheerleading. I can see how easy it will be for me to do this workout! I have never felt like that about any exercise video. I plan to incorporate it into my daily schedule, nap time will work well!

Breakfast is important, but I am more of a brunch person. I would rather eat a bigger breakfast around 10:00 a.m and then have a small healthy meal for lunch at 2:00 p.m. We eat dinner about 6 or 7 p.m in the summertime. And I enjoy having a small snack or treat in the late evening about 10:00 p.m. I go to bed about 11 or 12. That makes it about four meals two bigger and two smaller. If I can keep the bigger meals no carbohydrates I think I will see significant change!

My brunch today was 3 eggs 3 sausage links and two slices of rye toast. I know I should have had a veggie and fruit in substitute for the toast, but I have to go to the grocery store today. We finished our oranges last night and I had a can of green beans with my dinner last night. They are the real low sodium kind, which is way better if you are going to use canned. I prefer fresh or frozen most of the time!

Oh, by the way, we woke up to three inches of snow this morning! Super stinks, it's April 27 already!

Easter = Too Much Food

This Easter Sunday is looking to be beautiful outside. The sun is shining and Jesus is Alive! The kids devoured too much chocolate from their baskets and are wound up. We are ready for church and all dressed up! I feel fat, but I am trying to stay joyful in spite of it!

We are having grilled chicken, deviled eggs, Asian coleslaw salad, scalloped potatoes, and berry rhubarb pie w/ whipped cream!!

I will start my real diet tomorrow and then I am off an running with this blog and weight loss!!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Wii Fit Weigh In

I lost some weight over the last two weeks. I weigh in on the Wii fit every other week. I plan to weigh in more often because I think it helps keep me focused on my goal. So I am going to try to weigh in at least three times a week, just to help me focus on success. Ok, here it goes I weigh 293lbs. That is very scary to admit, but I know it is kinda of hard to hide my weight anyway, lol. I mean unless you are blind. So I want to be real with others and myself. This is not a healthy place to be.

I am not even going to focus on cutting out all the carbs until after Easter this weekend! I have kids so I do bake and have lots chocolate for them! We are coloring eggs tonight and eggs are a great carb free food. To make your deviled eggs healthy use light mayo. To make your egg salad do not use all the yokes, cut out at least half of them and you will significantly cut your fat consumption. Eggs are good for you in moderation, cooked every which way!

Day 1

I forgot this morning and had an English muffin and shared half an orange with Gus. I am having a friend over for lunch today also, so that might be a little difficult because I will be making mac n cheese and turkey dogs for the kids. I will update that later! I know I have to get through Easter and the snow to melt here in MN before making huge progress! I will update again later. I really do not want to post my weight and measurements, but I think I might anyway!
